Anne’s been saying she wants to play Kurt’s lesbian aunt for months, and now creator Ryan Murphy is on board! Are you excited?
Anne Hathaway, 28, is finally getting her wish! The Love and Other Drugs star will take a brief pause from the big screen this year to film a guest appearance on Glee. “I just ran into Anne Hathaway, who has created her own role,” Glee creator Ryan Murphy said Jan. 16 at the 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards. “And I said, ‘I think that’s great.’ So she’s going to come on.”
What role did Anne, 28, create for herself? “She wants to play [Golden Globe winner] Chris Colfer’s lesbian aunt,” Ryan, 45, dished.
Anne approached Ryan and described the role that she “dreamed of” to him. “She presented it and she created the songs,” Ryan explained. “I love her, so I said that we would!”
