Like many other new moms out there, Natalie doesn’t want to jinx her pregnancy! She’s got the right idea.

Though Natalie Portman is super excited about becoming a first-time mom, she’s definitely not going to plan too much ahead until her pregnancy is further along. “I’m very superstitious,” the 29-year-old Black Swan actress admitted at the Los Angeles premiere of her new movie No Strings Attached. “I’m very Jewish that way. We don’t do that.” Did you feel the same way, HollyMoms?

“I’ll be out of the public eye after [the baby’s born],” Natalie added. We think it’s great that Natalie wants to take some time off to enjoy being a new mom. Natalie’s plans for any future feature film roles? She explained that she will evaluate an opportunity “as it comes.” It’s nice to know that she’s not going to rush right back to work after giving birth. Babies grow up so fast, you should enjoy those first special months with your tot, Natalie. Good for you!

then why doesn’t she shut her trap about it then. just because it’s going good now doesn’t mean something can’t go wrong later not saying that it will but stranger things have happened
