Welcome Back Kate & Your Eight Gosselettes. Didn't Your Kids Just Miss 2 Weeks of School While On A Work Trip To Australia & New Zealand?

Airport report: Eyewitnesses spot Kate and her kids at the airport after their two week long trip Down Under to film episodes of their TLC show. Kate, aren’t you worried about your kids, who already had problems in school, missing so much work? Was it right to put work ahead of their education? We think you just made a big mistake.

According to several eyewitnesses, Kate Gosselin and her eight children — 10-year-old twins Cara and Mady and 6-year-old sextuplets Joel, Collin, Aaden, Hannah, Leah, and Alexis — are returning to business as usual in America after their two week trip to Australia and New Zealand where they filmed episodes for their show Kate Plus 8. Kate, it was selfish of you to sacrifice your children’s educational well-being in the hopes of getting better ratings on your show. You should be ashamed of yourself!

We knew their daddy, Jon, wasn’t happy about the arrangement, after unsuccessfully asking a judge to halt the trip due to the amount of school the kids would miss. Unfortunately, the only result of him attempting to keep the kids stateside was Kate slapping him with a contempt of court charge for allegedly breaking his custody agreement. That’s what you get for trying, Jon!

Both parties in this relationship have acted poorly in the past, but we agree with Jon that the kids should have returned back to school when it resumed on Jan. 4. Going to the zoo is great, but your kids have had trouble with school before and don’t need to be left behind because they were too busy filming a tv show! This is bad parenting, Kate. Do you want your kids to get into college and eventually be able to support themselves away from the spotlight? If so, then you should let them focus on the basic building blocks of their education — not fly them to the other side of the world to prance around in front of the camera crew. For their sake, save the exotic trips for when they’re on summer vacation.
