Supermodel Stephanie Seymour was spotted in St. Barth’s last week getting VERY close to her 18-year-old son, Peter Brant II. Now Peter says the reaction to these photos was ‘hateful.’ So do YOU kiss your kids on the lips?

Supermodel Stephanie Seymour, 42, and her son, Peter Brant II, 18, caused an internet uproar last week when they were photographed hugging and kissing each other on the beach. Today, Peter responded to the controversy, saying to Gawker, “These pictures have been taken completely out of context. She often hugs and kisses me and my siblings in a manner that is intimate, any mother in the world does the same.”

Peter went on to say, “We have nothing to hide and with that in mind I would like to say that I am openly gay (and yes, our relationship may be different because of my sexuality).” So do YOU hug and kiss your kids “in a way that is intimate?” And do YOU think a relationship between a gay son and his mother is “different?”

That’s right, this lady is NOT SHY. In fact, she also recently posed nude in Vanity Fair. Do you think the pictures look more unsettling because she’s wearing a bikini? Or maybe because her son is 18-years-old and almost an adult?

Stephanie was also famous for dating famous men—she went out with Warren Beatty, Charlie Sheen and Axl Rose. She recently reunited with her husband, Peter Brant (the father of three of her four kids), after the two had started divorce proceedings.

If loving your family is gross, then I guess I’m disgusting. They weren’t rolling around in the sand together bumping clam/sea cucumber. JoJo needs to come out of the prude closet. Showing affection to your family is not wrong and it’s obvious she loves her son unconditionally.

we are living in a reality world society, so they think too much of this, the sacred bond between mother and child is SACRED and yes, kissing on the lips is fine, his hand is close to her breast bec. he is hugging her. People, you are watching too much reality tv and no clue abt the sacred love between child and mother. Sad society of reality tv

i don’t see the problem with them kissing on the mouth lots of families do do that. what i think clearly makes this photo look disturbing to some is that his hand is very clearly on her breast. he could have not thought a thing of it and was just hugging his mom. but people are just going to tend to got to the worst thought when they see it. it is just human nature for a lot of people.
