The dad-of-four prepared for his role as boxer Mick Ward for six years and even let the real-life characters live in his house with his wife and four kids! Exclusive!

Mark Wahlberg is one lucky guy, not just because he’s nominated for his second Golden Globe, but because he’s got an incredibly devoted wife Rhea Durham! HollyBaby.com caught up with the star and producer of his critically acclaimed mega-hit The Fighter while at The National Board of Review Gala on Jan. 11, and he revealed why his wife is such a saint!

It turns out that while Mark was preparing to play the role of former boxing champ Micky Ward, he and Rhea were baby-making machines! Since 2001 the couple have had Ella Rae, 7, Michael Robert, 4, Brendan Joseph, 2, and Grace Margaret 1, but that didn’t stop Marky Mark from inviting former professional boxers Micky and oft troubled Dicky Ward to live with his family while shooting!

Mark will never let his kids get tattoos

“All of it drove my wife crazy,” Mark tells HollyBaby.com. “We were training at 4 o’ clock in the morning and the doorbell would be ringing everyday with the trainer there and we would be spending endless hours at the gym and traveling with trainers. Especially when she thought that the movie would never happen and there was no start date, no budget, no costars!”

Wow, we’re impressed Rhea — we don’t think we could put up with all that!

Its like you learn my mind! You seem to understand a lot approximately this, such as you wrote the e book in it or something. I feel that you simply can do with a few percent to power the message house a bit, however other than that, that is fantastic blog. A fantastic read. I’ll definitely be back.
