Zahara Jolie-Pitt is begging her parents to adopt a seventh child. But Brad doesn’t think now’s the right time. Aren’t six enough already, Angelina?
After visiting the Unesco center orphanage on their recent family trip to Namibia, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s 6-year-old daughter Zahara fell in love with a 5-year-old little girl. Zahara is blown away by the resemblance and believes that this little lady would be the perfect addition to her already huge family. Angelina is all for it, but Brad doesn’t think it’s the right time. Hollymoms, should Hollywood’s most famous parents adopt again?
Although Angelina is pushing Brad to adopt the “adorable” little girl,” he just isn’t sure that this is the best idea for their family — especially since they have successful careers and six kids under the age of 10 — Maddox, 9, Pax, 7, Zahara, Shiloh, 4, Knox and Vivienne, 2. “The problem is that Brad is just about to go to New Orleans to begin a new movie [Cogan's Trade], and Angelina is starting post-production on the film she’s directing,” an insider explains to In Touch magazine. “It seems like a really bad time to bring another child into the family.”
But even though Brad has tried to convince Angie to postpone all the paperwork until their schedules clear up, his partner of six years is not having it. “She knows the timing is bad, but she told Brad, ‘We need to bring home another child very soon,’” the insider reveals. The fact that her “heart melted” at Zahara’s request doesn’t help Brad’s cause either. “Angie says Zahara has fantastic maternal instincts for a 6-year-old,” says the source. Now that Brad realizes Angie is completely serious, he is begging her to wait another year. Good luck with that Brad.
Bringing a five-year-old child into a new environment with new family members and a new lifestyle is very daunting — we think Brad has the right idea. Although it is wonderful that Angelina is ready to adopt a child in need, she has to remember that adoption is something that takes a lot of time and energy. Hollymoms, do you think they’re ready for another child?
