Miley Cyrus Was Absent At People’s Choice Awards! Are You Tired Of Her?

Miley didn’t win any People’s Choice Awards this year — because she wasn’t nominated! Is her popularity losing steam?

Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, Vanessa Hudgens — the People’s Choice Awards were chock full of Hollywood’s young beauties! But where was Miley Cyrus? The pop star wasn’t even up for any of the multiple awards this year and we want to know why!

At last year’s PCAs, Miley took home two trophies — one for Favorite Breakout Movie Actress (Hannah Montana) and another for Favorite Web Celeb. In 2010 the starlet released a new album, Can’t Be Tamed, and starred in the Nicholas Sparks film The Last Song, which was created just for her. The former teen queen whose popularity matched that of Britney Spears has a massive fan base. So why wasn’t she recognized at the one awards show based on fans? And why didn’t she even make an appearance?

With her lapdance video, salvia bong scandal and her parents’ marital strife, Miley’s had a tough year. But do you think she’ll bounce back?

Miley is a very good singer and i like to watch her t.v. shows and she is not perfect everybody makes mistakes. Just because she made some stupid decisions that don’t mean you can hate her!!!!!!!!!!!!!

u all need to shut the F-ing up she is awsome and i think she should have been nomanated and should have won but she was not there she was working on her new movie so undercover i cant wait to see it

Miley wasn’t there because she was in New Orleans working on her movie.
I think Miley’s career is just starting, as she is moving on to bigger and better things. Like possibly a new album, and two movies coming out in 2011.

Miley can’t sing and can’t act. No wonder why she wasn’t nominated.Her 15 minutes have passed and she’s doing anything she can to stay in the limelight.

I’m a fan of Miley and support from the beginning and always will support it as it is shown. She said it will make mistakes and learn from them, she is a teenager who has the right to live their lives.

As we get older, just as Miley is, we get wiser. Part of the awards game seems to be about ratings. If a star can’t attend the show, they aren’t nominated, or, if nominated, don’t win. It’s a pretty brutal game of “spread the promotion around, or else”. Like, if you go on The Tonight Show, David Letterman will shun you, and vice versa. Unless you are really big.

I am looking forward to Miley’s next two movies.

She was loved by hundreds of millions last year at this time and she’s still loved by hundreds of millions. Her album didn’t do very well because Disney’s Hollywood Records deliberately sabotaged it. In fact, the first and only single from that album did great, remaining on the Billboard Hot 100 for several weeks. And the Album debuted at number 2 on the Billboard Hot 200–which would be the envy of the overwhelming majority of recording artist. Since that time, Hollywood records has refused to issue another single in the United States from that album. Yet in all her other work she’s been successful, like her last movie that grossed more than $100 million. And she didn’t attend the People’s Choice Awards because she’s working in New Orleans, which you well know.

She was WORKING!! If shed left her set to go the the award show you probably would have said she was being irresponsible. Leave the girl alone she doing her thing & all the PCA did pretty much was give awards to people who showed up. Selena Gomez won?
