Jennifer Connelly told David Letterman last night that while she might be past the morning sickness stage, dealing with the nausea was no fun!

Jennifer Connelly, who recently revealed she’s expecting another child with her husband,Paul Bettany, admitted that she is through her first trimester — but it wasn’t easy! “The first three months were no fun, it was sketchy,” Jennifer, 40, explained to David Letterman last night (Jan. 5) on The Late Show with David Letterman. “It was like cell phone service sketchy.” That’s an interesting way to describe morning sickness, right?

These celebs are expecting babies in 2011!

“You know how you have your cell phone service and you have to stand in one spot. I have to stand in one spot in my apartment to make a phone call. It was like that with nausea,” she explains. I had to stand in one spot, which happened to be in front of my refrigerator which was open with me dipping pretzels in cream cheese and stuffing them into my mouth. If I did that, I was good.” We can’t imagine eating pretzels covered in cream cheese helps an uneasy stomach, but if it worked for Jennifer that’s great!

The Dilemma star, who is expecting her new addition sometime in the spring, already has two sons — 13-year-old Kai and 7-year-old Stellan. “This is the third. We like to take our time,” she laughed referring the age gaps between her kids. “It’s great, they’re very excited. We’re all really excited,” she added. “Paul was ready from the get-go. We’ve sort of been putting it off, so it seemed to be time. And it’s good, I’m feeling great.” We are thrilled for Jennifer and her family and can’t wait to hear more about her pregnancy!
