Elizabeth Edwards Gets Last Word From Beyond The Grave: Cuts Husband John Edwards Out Of Her Will!

Elizabeth left everything to her kids and didn’t mention John Edwards AT ALL in the will she signed just six days before she died!

Elizabeth Edwards lost her six-year battle with breast cancer on December 7th, and in her last will and testament, dated December 1st, she made it clear that her kids and NOT John Edwards were to be the beneficiaries of her estate. In fact, John’s name appears NOWHERE in the will! Elizabeth couldn’t forgive her cheating husband, John, in the end, and instead was focused on her three beautiful children, Cate, Emma Claire and Jack.

“All of my furniture, furnishings, household goods, jewelry, china, silverware and personal effects and any automobiles owned by me at the time of my death I give and bequeath to my children to be divided among them,” Elizabeth wrote in the most recent and final version of her will. Her eldest daughter, the gorgeous 28-year-old lawyer Cate Edwards, was listed as the executor of her estate.

Elizabeth’s death certificate was also just released, according to Inside Edition, and it states that the cause of death was “metastatic breast cancer.”

I’m no lawyer, but unless he signed something beforehand, I was under the impression that a person cannot legally cut his or her spouse out of a will.

Legally, divorce could not be initiated until the couple lived apart for 12 months; Edwards’ death occurred one month shy of the minimum separation allotment. As I said, her children were the only intended/rightful beneficiaries.

I think the American public has judged John Edwards too harshly, while overlooking his achievements and what he did to try to advance the interests of the poor in the United States. Also, if we judge every cheating husband by the same standard, there’s practically no man fit to run for political office left. Rumors have it that Obama also had an affair with a woman while he was senator and became president. So where does it end? Not just Democrats either. Some notable Republicans/leadership hopefuls knocked out because of trifling affairs include John Ensign, Mark Sanford, and many others. It’s time to separate the bedroom from the political arena and leave these politicians to sort out their own lives rather than judgemental public and vicious news media do it for them.

FYI Joe, Elizabeth Edwards has been in the news because she died. I don’t give a damn about John Edwards or restoring his public image. The damage is done.
