Instead of taking her kids around Brisbane’s awesome attractions, Kate Gosselin and her gang hang by their hotel pool. How thrilling.

Of course every vacation calls for a little R&R, but when you have eight excited children eager to explore a foreign country, should you really be laying out by your hotel pool? I guess that’s what Kate Gosselin thinks. The reality star mom, 35, is in Brisbane, the latest stop on her Australian tour, but instead of taking the kids out to cuddle a koala, she decided it would be best for her and the kids to hang out at their hotel pool today (Jan. 5).

Kate and the kids were all smiles yesterday and ready for Aussie adventures!

Kate, don’t you have a pool in your backyard? We know it’s winter in Pennsylvannia, but really, aren’t there better things for you to be doing in Australia? Say a visit to a local beach or the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary or even Steve Irwin’s Australian Zoo?

Kate was miserable on her family trip to Philadelphia!

Well, what can we expect, from a tanning fanatic who is traveling with two nannies who can keep an eye on the kids while she lounges on her poolside chaise. Let’s just hope she takes the kids out tomorrow. There’s so much to see in Australia and so little time!

The kids are apparently having a blast seeing an Alligator show with the Irwin family today. Bonnie is an idiot and doesnt know what she’s talking about. They relaxed yesterday which was what they should do.

And the kids working? They are traveling the world and experiencing things other kids only read about it books. Haters get over yourselves.

Yup.I saw the pictures.The kids looks as happy as kate does.Thats not saying much.Another free trip and they wont remember it.They have had 6 trips in the last 6 months?Kate is the worst mom ever!!!

WHAT BUSINESS IS IT OF BONNIE OR YOU TO TELL KATE WHAT TO DO WITH HER KIDS? Just in case some of you aren’t paying attention Kate isn’t paying attention to you. if I let Bonnie write the story she never has anything to say nice about too many people. I do hope Bonnie is taking care of her kids and spend as much time with her kid as Kate does with 8. It’s been almost 2 yrs of INCOMING BLISS since Jon is not weighing Kate and the kids down. With everything that has been done to her and her kids by Jon and Fugly Ellen Ross if Kate is happy doing this then GREAT FOR HER!

You want to talk fugly?That would be kate.Making the kids WORK while she’s off tanning…shopping…getting her nails done…getting her hair done…finding alone time with steve.Answer this suebonnet…Why is it that we never see kate doing anything with the kids,when she’s not being PAID for it? Do we ever see kate taking the kids to a park…or a beach…or anything when TLC is not PAYING her?
Jon pays her over 20 grand a month in child support.Jon was the only loving parent that the kids had from the start.The kids beg and plead to be with thier dad.
kate only PLAYS a mom on tv when she gets PAID for it.

When kate decided to sell the kids privacy is when the public had a right to say something.Kate wants us to believe she has 8 kids and yet she has NO money to care for them.Kate has made MILLIONS by making the kids WORK.
Kate gets to eat at NON organic restraunts(NOBU) Kate flies 1st class…kate has a bodyguard…kate shops pretty much everyday…kate tans…kate gets her hair and nails done…Kate is the most happy when she is NO where near the kids.Kate is trash.

Bottom line is the kids are missing school for this. They are struggling in school and have been pulled to film halfway around the world. If Kate needed her bikini/tan time, wouldn’t Florida or Arizona during Christmas break have sufficed.

Kate play with her kids?? Yeah right.You never see kate playing with the kids.You wont see her swimming with them or building sand castles.She has zero intrest in being active in the kids lives.Kate only cares about herself.She needs to look picture perfect at all times.Rolling around in the sand with the kids would mess up her fake hair.kate just stands around barking orders at the kids and her “helpers”.Mom of the year for sure!!!

Okay, I get that some kids just want to play in the pool and I think it’s great HOWEVER Kate dragged those kids to the other side of the world for a day at the beach and a day at the pool? Why not just take them to one of the caribbean islands then? Why travel all those hours taking several plane trips for that?

I will say that at least they weren’t being filmed by TLC at the pool. Must be nice to have a day without cameras.

How do we know this wasn’t what the kids wanted to do? I wish I was by a pool right now. What if the family is going to see the Koalas the following day? I read that they were going there for 20 days. So apparently they have plenty of time.

What a wonderful reason to keep 2 kids that cant function in society out of school!To play in a pool!How do we know this is what the kids wanted to do?Thats easy…kate NEVER lets the kids make any decisions…they never have a say or a voice.We have years of proof on tape.Kate only plays a “mom” when she’s being PAID to.Even then,it’s the nannys and the crew who take care of the kids.kate only cares about herself.She has made that very clear from day one!

Seriously, is this post for real? If Kate was taking the kids everywhere, haters would say they aren’t getting a break. Why exactly can’t they have a relaxing day by the pool? This is what they SHOULD be doing. Enjoying the hotel and not running from place to place every five minutes. Articles like this prove that they have no good info to tell, and they will just rip apart what looks to be a wonderfully relaxing day for the kids. SHAME ON HOLLYBABY!

There is a great indoor swimming park right in Pa. Why take your kids out of school and drag them half way around the world to work. They could easily get the same shots on weekends and not miss school. There is nothing wrong with them going to school all week and then working on the weekends right???? BTW, we haven’t seen any activities that I would consider educational either.

Kate does NOT have to work in tv to support the kids.The kids are WORKING to support themselves and thier greedy mother.Kate has made MILLIONS selling the kids privacy.You know a show with just kate would bomb.kate has more than enough money to stay home and raise the kids that she claimes she does everything for.She dosent have to work ever again.She could be home with the kids 24/7 but she dosent want to.Kate is only with the kids when they are working and she’s being paid to try and play a mother.

I’m not a Kate fan. At all.. However I am a Mom and while it would be great to be able to go to a place like that and see everything sometimes the kids are just happy playing in a pool. I know for my youngest that’s the only thing that matters. It doens’t matter were we go he is always asking about the pool. So don’t judge so much..
