A new report claims she interrupted Justin and Selena’s romantic New Year’s Eve trip!

We really hope this isn’t true — we’d hate for anyone to get in between Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber! A source tells Page Six that Justin’s mom, Pattie Mallette, flew down to St. Lucia when she saw a photo of Justin, 16, and Selena, 18, canoodling on a private yacht had been published on Twitter. “[Justin and Selena] were determined to stay unseen, but someone posted a view of the resort on Twitter,” the source explains. “Selena left on Jan. 2, leaving Justin alone with his bodyguard, in time for his mom to arrive.”

The source also drops some details about Justin and Selena’s romantic holiday rendezvous:

“Justin and Selena arrived on a private jet together from Atlanta with friends and his manager. They then took a helicopter together to the resort, where they stayed in two villas and celebrated New Year’s Eve.”

Justin’s rep says the story is “false” and that Pattie “is on a scheduled vacation with her son. All is well in paradise.”
