Ronnie could be facing jail time! Can you picture him fist pumping behind bars?
Jersey Shore star, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, hasn’t had an easy year in the legal department. The reality star was indicted in December for third-degree assault after punching Stephen Izzo in Seaside Heights, N.J. The punch, which went down back in Sept. 2009, was aired on the hit show (no pun intended… really.)
Ronnie is expected at Ocean County Superior Court at 9 a.m. today for a pre-arraignment hearing — and get this: the guy still doesn’t have an attorney on record according to the clerk’s office!
HollywoodLife.com is told if Ronnie doesn’t show today he could get one of two things: either get a rescheduled date if he has a valid excuse… or a warrant can be issued for his arrest!
The original indictment states Ronnie “purposely or knowingly caused significant bodily injury to Stephen Izzo by striking in the face with a closed fist, causing him to lose consciousness.”
Meanwhile, there’s also pending civil cases against MTV and Ronnie for other altercations which aired on the show, included the Stephen Izzo punch and a fight between Ronnie and Josh Thomas.

Yo! Its the Jersey Shore! I have been to Seaside Heights every summer for years now and one thing that never changes, there is a chance that you might get in to a fight. Especially at the clubs. Don’t get me wrong, you can have a slammin time there but in the clubs with a lot of testosterone sh*t happens. I agree, if Ronnie wasn’t famous now there would be no case at all. F* those Izzo and thomas guys. Looks like they want a nice easy pay day. Izzo got his ass kicked for instigating the fight, end of story.
