Phew! An insider tells HollyBaby that Amber Portwood and Gary Shirley finally got around to buying their adorable little girl some gifts.
When we heard that Teen Mom‘s Amber Portwood was spending so much money on her new boyfriend that she was worried she wouldn’t have enough money left to buy Christmas gifts for her 2-year-old toddler, Leah, it made us sad. Then, just two days before Christmas, a source close to Leah’s father, Gary Shirley, told us that he still hadn’t bought any gifts for his daughter — despite blowing a ton of cash on himself! But these two ended up doing the right thing by their daughter — finally! An insider tells HollyBaby exclusively that Leah woke up on Christmas morning to find some presents from her parents under the tree.
An insider tells Hollybaby.com exclusively, “Gary bought Leah an easel to write on for Christmas and a cleaning set, because she likes to clean. He had bought her a bunch of clothes a couple of weeks ago and gave it to her before Christmas. He probably spent about 200 bucks on Leah, total.” At least the poor girl, whose mom was arrested and thrown into jail just two days after Christmas, had something to smile about.
The same source tells us that Amber bought her daughter “a pink Disney princess convertible and Cinderella dolls from Wal-Mart.” Well, these two certainly aren’t going to win any Parents of the Year awards, but at least they bought her something, right? It’s the least Amber could do, considering she makes a whopping $280,000 a year from MTV for appearing on Teen Mom!
