The new mom already has something wonderful to celebrate this year, but we’re sure 2011 will bring even more baby joy!

Danica McKellar is best known for playing Winne Cooper on The Wonder Years, but she is more than just an actress, she’s an author and mathematician! She wrote two New York Times best sellers, Math Doesn’t Suck, and Kiss My Math, which encourage middle-school girls to have confidence and succeed in mathematics! How awesome! She married composer Mike Verta in March 2009 and they welcomed their first child, Draco, on Sept. 7, 2010!

“If I had known it was going to be 36 hours, I’m not sure I would’ve been able to do it,” Danica said of giving birth. “At the end I remember yelling, ‘Oh, come on!’ but besides that, I can’t remember what most of the labor was like!” Well labor is over and now you have a beautiful little boy! Happy Birthday!
