OMG! Lorenzo thinks it’s time fans stop hating Brad and that they should just accept the decisions the man made in the past!
The Bachelor‘s returning star Brad Womack, 38, is continually remembered and hated by America for breaking the hearts of DeAnna Pappas, 29, and Jenni Croft, 27, when he left the show a single man and the women both broken hearted at the end of season 11. However, now he’s coming back for a second chance — and despite the the fact that fans just aren’t happy, former Bachelor Lorenzo Borghese tells HollywoodLife.com “of course” Brad deserves this second go! Adding, “If no one deserves a second chance, we are all screwed!”
“I don’t think he fell in love the first time,” Lorenzo says. “I believe he is ready to fall in love now. I think it’s about time.”
Lorenzo thinks Bachelor fans should really allow Brad this chance again.
“Why do you hate the guy? Because he didn’t fall in love?” he asks. “I don’t think there is anything wrong with realizing a mistake just before it’s too late, so instead of being a coward and just doing what everybody wanted him to do, it took a lot of guts and I don’t think anybody should hate him. I think they should realize he was honest at the end.”
As for the women competing for Brad this season, Lorenzo also warns them to not hate.
“Let’s see how much they don’t trust him after episode one,” Lorenzo says. “Everyone who stays obviously trusts him.”
This time, Brad seems seriously ready to find true love. “When anybody is close to hitting 40, they start thinking about it a little bit more,” Lorenzo explains.
So Lorenzo shares with Brad: “Good luck Brad. I hope your second go around is much more successful than your first!”
