Oops! R-Patz got jealous when he found out Kristen was hanging out with her co-star Garrett Hedlund in LA, while he was stuck home for the holidays!
Is there trouble in paradise? Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart agreed to spend the holidays apart, but when R-Patz heard K-Stew went out with her friend and co-star Garrett Hedlund in LA, an insider tells us he went ballistic.
“Rob went home to London to spend Christmas with his family and Kristen stayed in the States to spend Christmas with her family. They both agreed on spending the holiday apart, but would ring in the New Year together,” our insider says. “But, on Christmas Eve, Kristen hit the town with Garrett and when Rob heard about he got really jealous. She knows that Rob is jealous of Garrett and to go out with him while he’s miles and miles away did not sit well with him.”
Apparently, Robert, 24, freaked out at Kristen, 20, because he was jealous.
“They had a huge fight over it,” our source tells us. “Kristen didn’t mean anything by it. Garrett is her friend and he happened to be around. She was apologetic to Rob, but that didn’t satisfy his jealousy. After they hung up, Rob called on some friends and went out hitting the pubs in London. Kristen tried to call Rob on his cell, but he wouldn’t pick up. He finally called her the next day and they two smoothed the whole thing out. They will be spending New Year’s Eve together.”
Rob and Kristen have been together for so many years, we hope this was just a little rut in the road and they make up for any Christmas mishaps with a fabulous New Year’s Eve!

HollywoodLife is spending the last day of 2010 just as it spent many of the previous 364 days – adding to Gossip Cop’s workload.
You’ll recall that earlier this week, the site claimed On The Road co-stars Kristen Stewart and Garrett Hedlund were together at Soho House in Los Angeles on Christmas Eve.
The so-called “date” was 100% phony.
As Gossip Cop reported, Hedlund was NOT EVEN THERE.
Well, today HollywoodLife proves again that it’s either too oblivious or too careless to let inaccuracy get in the way of a juicy story.
According to the site, Robert Pattinson “went ballistic” after hearing that Stewart and Hedlund were together on Christmas Eve.
Stewart “knows that Rob is jealous of Garrett and to go out with him while he’s miles and miles away did not sit well with him,” HollywoodLife’s so-called “insider” alleges.
The Twilight co-stars “had a huge fight over it,” continues the site’s source. Stewart was supposedly “apologetic to Rob, but that didn’t satisfy his jealousy.”
Uh-huh.
Sigh.
Let’s go through this again.
Kristen Stewart and Garrett Hedlund did NOT spend Christmas Eve together.
Robert Pattinson did not “freak out” about their “date,” as HollywoodLife claims, because there was NO date.
And a Pattinson confidante tells Gossip Cop the entire story is totally ludicrous.
