The Victoria’s Secret model was back on the runway within six months of giving birth to her daughter, Valentina. Here’s how she lost the baby weight!
If you want to look like supermodel Adriana Lima after you have a baby, it shouldn’t be too hard. All you have to do is eat a completely restriced diet and find time to work out for a couple hours every day! Easy, right? Well, OK, maybe not, but it certainly worked for her.
After having her daughter, Valentina (who turned 1 in November), the runway beauty lost 35 pounds in under six months by working out for one to two hours a day with former boxer (and now go-to celebrity trainer) Michael Olijide, focusing on cardio exercises like boxing and jumping rope, while also cutting out carbohydrates and eating high-protein foods. “I did a combo of protein shakes, green veggies,” she tells OK! magazine, “everything grilled or steamed and four ounces of protein.”
After a while, whole grains were reintroduced to her diet, but since giving birth, Adriana has cut out unhealthy and high-fat foods, while also monitoring the size of her portions.
