Michelle wants to show her daughter the movie where she met and fell in love with her father, the late Heath Ledger. Is that a good idea?

Michelle Williams is working hard to give her daughter, Matilda, the best life possible since the sudden, tragic death of her father, Heath Ledger in 2008. Because she met Heath on the set of 2006’s Brokeback Mountain, that movie will always hold a special place in her heart and she plans to share it with Matilda, 5, someday, but it’s just too difficult right now.

Matilda has mature tastes

“I was just an actor who happened to be lucky enough to be in the right place, and it was the place where I met Matilda’s father, and that is a lot,” Michelle, 30, tells Angeleno magazine. “And it will be a lot for Matilda too, when she gets around to watching it. I will watch it with her, when she’s ready. It is hard to imagine what that would feel like, but one day, yes, we will watch it together.”

Considering that the film is about the homosexual relationship that develops between two cowboys and had an R rating, we have a feeling it will be quite a few years before Matilda will be ready to watch it.

Michelle talks about life as a single mom

While the little lady isn’t mature enough to view the movie just yet, she does feel too old to have a little girl’s haircut. “Her hair is down to her chin and she has decided she can have her bangs trimmed, but she doesn’t want a bob anymore. A bob is cute for a 3-year-old but she is 5 now,” explains Michelle. Do your daughters feel the same way, HollyMoms?
