Is Brad ready to see DeAnna & Jenni again? More importantly, is he ready to fall in love this time around?
Bachelor Brad Womack is back! The 38-year-old bar owner thinks that he’s finally ready to find love, but on the first episode of this season’s The Bachelor, Brad first has to deal with the repercussions of rejecting DeAnna Pappas, 29, and Jenni Croft, 27, the last time he was on the show.
“I get it. I understand the anger, the hurt, the frustration. I understand all of that,” Brad says of the girls, who pay him a special visit on the Jan. 3 premiere. “The thing that I would say is a very heartfelt, ‘I’m sorry.'”
But once this dramatic reunion ends, Brad says he’s ready to embark on another quest for love.
“Never in a million years did I think I would be sitting here again,” he admits. “I feel like the luckiest guy on the planet. I wouldn’t have done it the first time if I didn’t believe it.”
“I’m damn sure [ready for] a second go around, especially after everything I went through,” he tells host Chris Harrison. “I think that then, and it took a long time to realize this, I wasn’t capable of falling in love. I didn’t even realize those walls were up. But at the end of the day, I am sitting here with you now a much better man.”
“I’ll be very honest, the most empty feeling in the world was standing there all alone knowing that I had just let go of two amazing women,” Brad emphasizes. “I’ve done a lot of soul searching and I know in my heart that I’m very, very ready to fall in love. I really hope that America will give me the chance and most importantly these women give me the chance to just be myself and prove to each and every one of them that I am a changed person.”
