Imagine being a barista in Springfield, MO, having a regular kind of day when, all of a sudden, you get an order from a familiar voice, then look up and see it’s Angelina Jolie! One lucky worker at the Springfield Barnes & Noble had just that experience, as Angelina, 35, was in town with partner Brad Pitt, 47, and their kids — Zahara, 5, and Shiloh, 4, were with mom at the bookstore — to visit his family.
The pic was posted on Facebook by a woman named Deanah Handley, who commented, “My sons girlfriend katie making coffee for Angelina. So cool!” and then, after several people responded, she added, “I told Katie I would have passed out right there if I had seen Brad Pitt.”
We hope the Jolie-Pitt kids don’t suffer from jetlag because they’ve certainly been earning their frequent flyer miles over the holidays. The kids flew from Hungary, where their mom was shooting her directorial debut, to Namibia (Shiloh’s birthplace), where they spent Christmas, and then it was over to Springfield for a couple of days.
And the family was spotted boarding a jet again this morning! We’re guessing they’re headed for Louisiana. The family has a home in New Orleans and Brad is set to begin filming Cogan’s Trade, which reunites him with his The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford director Andrew Dominick.
