Reese is making sure that her soon-to-be husband walks the line when he’s with her kids. She has a ton of house rules — and she enforces them!

Reese Withersoon is basking in the glow of her new engagement to her boyfriend of a year, talent agent Jim Toth. But ever since he moved into her Brentwood, Calif., mansion with her and her kids, Ava, 11, and Deacon, 7, he’s learned that Reese runs the house like a drill sergeant, according to Star. “Jim knew she was rather picky, since they’d known each other for years before they started dating,” an insider tells the magazine. “But now he’s getting it full-force.”

Reese is giving Ava love advice

Reese, 34, is on a rampage about everything from how leftovers are stored in the refrigerator to her family’s sleeping habits. Reese’s house rules include: “No open soda cans or foil-wrapped leftovers are allowed in the fridge.” What does she have against aluminum foil? And she’s even forbidden Jim from drinking any alcohol in front of Ava or Deacon! “Reese is a handful and a real challenge sometimes,” says the source.

Reese isn’t dwelling on divorce

And no one is allowed to sleep in on Sundays because attendance at church is mandatory. Also, because Reese considers herself to be a Ms. Fix-It, she insists that she be consulted before all maintenance visits. “Jim gets frustrated on occasion, but it’s a quality he appreciates in her,” the source tells the magazine.
