Check out this heart-tugging montage put together by the man’s adult son, who has become a filmmaker, and watch these kids grow up before your eyes.

Back in 1985, Nick Confalone‘s dad started videotaping Nick and his sister coming down the stairs on Christmas morning. Now, Nick has edited together all those scenes into a heart-warming montage as we get to see Nick and his little sister grow up before our very eyes. He posted the video on YouTube, where there have already been almost 200,000 page views.

“GUYS our Christmas montage is the 10th most-viewed video on youtube right now,” Nick, who is a writer for Nickelodeon, tweeted Monday afternoon. The video has become a viral hit, and features the music of Vince Guaraldi, playing “Christmas Time Is Here.” Check it out! It’ll totally make you want to call your parents!
