Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s twins – Max and Emme – are the newest members of The Little Gym. Too bad Max doesn’t look so thrilled about it!
Jennifer Lopez admits that part of the reason she wanted to become a judge on American Idol, was to give her 2-year-old twins, Max and Emme, some stability. And now that the entire family, including husband, Marc Anthony, has settled into life in Los Angeles, J. Lo’s getting her kids involved in local activities. On Wednesday (Dec. 22) the tots, in the company of nannies, headed off to their first class at The Little Gym in Calabasas, Calif.
Jennifer’s ready for baby No. 3!
Don’t worry, HollyMoms, Jennifer and Marc aren’t trying to turn their toddlers into Olympic athletes, The Little Gym is a nurturing environment where kids can develop their motor and social skills. According to staff, kids are encouraged to try their best, not be their best.

Little Max and Emme will be burning off all their excess energy by learning how to somersault and walk across a balance beam, while interacting with the other tots. The Little Gym also plays fun music that will help the twins develop rhythm — it stimulates the parts of the brain involved in reading and math. Wow! Who knew that some tumbling could be so beneficial to the brain!
HollyMoms, have you enrolled your toddlers into any fun programs like that?

My daughter, almost 3, loves the Little Gym. It is a wonderful program! It’s pricey, but worth it (not that J Lo needs to worry about that!). My 9 mo old goes with his sister and loves it too. Thanks for shedding light on this great activity. It really is all about fun confidence building and motor skills (and social skills, which are xtra important for celeb kids, I’d imagine!).
