Since finishing as the fourth-place finalist on the fifth season of American Idol, this rock musician has quickly made it to the top of the charts and is now a household name. He’s the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for the band Daughtry. Their first album sold more than one million copies in the first five weeks of it’s release and became the fastest selling debut rock album in history! Chris is also the third most successful American Idol finalist, coming after Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood.

Chris and his wife Deanna have been married since November 2000, and he has four children – his stepdaughter Hannah, his son Griffen, and his twins Adalynn and Noah, who were just born in November 2010. No matter how busy Chris is touring and making music, he makes sure to keep in touch with his family. He told People magazine how him and family stay connected: “We send pictures back and forth to the kids. That’s the hard thing. No matter how old they are, you miss a lot of things. If there is something going on, I will tell my wife to take a picture of it and e-mail or text it to me. It is what it is. We make do.”
