We’ve been skeptical, but if Jake really did buy Taylor a $100,000 diamond bracelet, it might really be a romance!
It might be time to reconsider the Taylor Swift-Jake Gyllenhaal showmance: For Taylor’s 21st birthday on Dec. 13, her new beau Jake Gyllenhaal, 30, has reportedly given her a very expensive present … a $100,000 bracelet!
“It’s an Oscar-worthy bracelet — nearly 30 carats of colorless diamonds set in white gold,” a source tells In Touch magazine. “It cost Jake about $100,000, but he wanted to do something special for Taylor‘s birthday.”
Besides the 30-carat sparkler, Jake also picked up some other goodies for Tay. “They love coffee, so he sent her 21 pounds of the best Kona coffee available, along with a coffee grinder and a coffeemaker,” says the source. “And he made her a birthday card, as opposed to buying a generic one!”
Taylor seems so taken away by Jake that she’s even changing up her image to please her new man. “She’s decided to get a more sophisticated look,” another source notes. “She’s buying from stores like Chanel, Prada and Hermes.”
