At just 14-years-old, she was one of the youngest girls to sign with the agency — although it looks like her rebellious antics are costing Taylor more than she expected.
After seeing a fresh-faced Taylor Momsen in Gossip Girl, it seemed like more than ever before people were starting to take notice of the pretty blonde teen and her model-like frame — including mega agency IMG, who signed 14-year-old Taylor in 2008, making her one of the youngest girls at the time. Although after scoring a spot in New Look ads, Madonna’s Material Girl campaign for Macy’s, and a Galliano fragrance campaign, it looks like her wild ways, (which have led to her indefinite hiatus on Gossip Girl), are really taking their toll on the teen’s career!
According to Fashionista, IMG, (the agency home to a slew of famous faces, including Kate Moss and Gisele Bundchen), is no longer representing Taylor, and when we called the agency to comment all they would say is, “We do not represent her [Taylor].” Her reps have yet to respond to the news.
Aside from producing more music with her band, The Pretty Reckless, the teen doesn’t seem to have many projects in the works — while she claims she’s just being herself, I guess her provocative ways, (including her cursing, flashing, and smoking), are starting to affect her reputation. I think it’s a shame to see the talented star throw away her potential, but what do you think? Do you think it’s time Taylor wakes up and realizes her bad girl image is seriously hurting her career?

The thing is, the whole “bad girl” thing she has going on isn’t even HER. I don’t believe it for a minute. It just seems so pretentious, and it shows. Like a cry for help/attention that her mother will never answer while she milks her daughter for all she’s worth. Just like all other showbiz mothers. Kinda sad, but I’m sure she’s smart enough to clean up her act when she gets older. She doesn’t seem like a dumb blonde, even though she tends to put her foot in her mouth.
