Actress, mother, wife, lifestyle expert, singer and now matchmaker! Is there anything Gwyneth can’t do?

It looks like Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal have a very high profile couple to thank for their budding relationship — Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin! After reports the pair dined together at Gwyn’s home in London, USA Today asked the actress about rumors she had set up the couple. The reserved Gwyneth told the paper, “I’ve just known Jake for a long time and he’s a great guy, and Chris has a friendship with Taylor.”

Gwyneth then went on to feign surprise anyone was even asking her about the couple! “It’s so weird. I wonder how people find out these things. It was a while ago, so I don’t know why it would come out today.”

Given how quickly Taylor and Jake’s relationship has taken off, it looks like Gwyneth did a pretty good job bringing them together!
