Mmm Bop, baby! The youngest Hanson brother and his wife welcomed their second child, a daughter named Junia! What a great Christmas present!
Congratulations, Zac Hanson! The Hanson drummer welcomed a baby girl with his wife, Kate, on Wednesday (Dec. 15)! Junia Rosa Ruth, who joins big brother Shepherd, 2½, arrived weighing 8 pounds and 7 ounces! “We couldn’t imagine a better Christmas gift than this sweet little girl,” Zac, 25, tells People.
“In just the short time she’s been here, she’s enriched our family and our lives beyond measure,” he adds. “We’re looking forward to celebrating the season with our family and introducing her to everyone.” Everyone includes his six siblings, most notably big brothers Isaac and Taylor, their wives Nicole and Natalie and their combined six children! (Taylor has four kids — Jordan Ezra, 8, Penelope Anne, 5, River Samuel, 4, and Viggo Moriah, 2 — and Issac has two — Clarke Everett, 3, and James Monroe, 2.)
Although there’s a lot of little Hansons running around on the tour bus, Zac says it’s not something they planned — it just happened! “We have no intentions to battle the Osmonds in any way,” Zac jokes. “They can have the crown.”
His wife Kate realizes that the Hanson brothers may be “super-fertile,” but they’re just a regular bunch! “Honestly, we’re pretty normal,” she says. “We’re three distinct families but people want to group us together!” Well duh, they’re Hanson! Congrats again to the happy couple! We’re sure they’ll be plenty more babies to come!
