The First Lady fashionista shows off her stellar style in a vintage frock!
Everyone always loves to see what Michelle Obama will turn up wearing next, and the First Lady didn’t disappoint in a lace vintage Norman Norell gown from the ’50s for the TNT Christmas in Washington broadcast on Dec. 12. The frock, from the New York Vintage archives, marks the first time we’ve seen the First Lady in vintage. “[This is] truly an historic event, as this may be the first time a First Lady has worn a vintage dress,” New York Vintage co-owner Jon Schneck told Huffington Post. “Other dresses from the archive have been scheduled for use by the First Lady later this year. We are truly honored that the First Lady has chosen a gown from New York Vintage as her first venture into vintage couture.”
Fans of New York Vintage, (aside from Michelle, of course!), include Lady Gaga, Julia Roberts, Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Lange, and Beyonce.
