Contrary to what Kate said on Today, Collin and Alexis were physically abusive to their peers and hurt an adult badly enough to force the school to expel them, says a new report.
Did Kate Gosselin lie on national television when she denied that her kids Collin and Alexis, 6, were expelled from school for their abusive behavior? Not only were both children physically harming their classmates, RadarOnline.com reports, but one even hurt an adult twice causing the school to dismiss them.
Kate initially went on the Today show and told Meredith Vieira that “they were not expelled from school.” She explained that the pressures of attending a competitive school combined with their parents’ divorce caused the kids to act out. Collin and Alexis “were having anger issues, acting out, having behavior things… I did what I could do,” Kate said. “I brought them home. I have them with a private tutor, an early education tutor, and she’s teaching them one on one. My kids are back and they are excelling along with weekly therapy.” Kate also noted that being on TV was not the reason for her kids’ issues.
Despite Kate’s denials and though the extent of the adult’s injuries are not known, it was enough to send the kids packing. “Both Jon [Gosselin] and Kate were sent a letter from the head of school explaining that despite their best efforts, staff had reached a point at which they had to request the children enroll in another program,” a source said. “It’s clear Kate did not tell the truth.”
Now, Kate and Jon are seeking other alternatives for their kids’ education. “Alexis and Collin could go to a public school but they would be photographed and harassed,” another insider revealed. “It’s clear the kids need to be integrated back into their private school, if they want to keep them at the same place. Or they can be sent to the school with the Gosselin’s other kids.”
“They can’t just be tutored, at home: these kids need to be integrated with other children,” the insider added.
