Jake Gyllenhaal claims he’s not rushing into anything with his new relationship, but how does he explain traveling around the world with Taylor Swift after only weeks of dating?
Jake Gyllenhaal was nominated for a Golden Globe for his role in Love and Other Drugs, but he said he’s not sure yet if his new girlfriend, Taylor Swift, will be his date at the awards show.
“It’s going to be a long, slow burn for me. I’m not rushing into anything!” the 29-year-old actor admitted to USA Today about his blossoming relationship with the 21-year-old pop singer.
Taylor’s tour doesn’t start until late January, so we wouldn’t be surprised if she makes an appearance with her new man. After all, Hollywood sure has a unique way of looking at relationships.
When normal couples “don’t get serious” they are hesitant to put their relationship statuses on Facebook. However, when celebrities like Taylor and Jake “take it slowly,” they’re jet setting internationally together. The two have been inseparable since they started dating, even spending Thanksgiving together in New York and reportedly traveling to Europe for the holidays. Hardly seems slow to us!

I guess taking things slow means introducing her to your family and little niece, leaving her family in Tenn. to fly to New York to spend Thanksgiving with his family, flying to London and L.A. to sleep over with him and him flying to Tenn to sleep over at her place. Gees if this is the definition of SLOW I hate to see what he considers fast! These two think the public is stupid. Taylor Swift sends tweets about being “alone” in her condon the same time that tabloids report that she and Jake are locked up in the house together. Big fat liars.
