One of Brad’s co-stars talks about how often the Jolie-Pitt clan was around, and how hands-on the father of six was whenever he wasn’t shooting.
Brad Pitt really does take this whole fatherhood thing pretty seriously. One of his co-stars in next fall’s baseball movie, Moneyball, Keith Middlebrook, laments the fact that Brad, 46, was so busy with kids Maddox, 9, Pax, 7, Zahara, 5, Shiloh, 4 and twins Knox and Vivienne, 2, that Keith didn’t really get a chance to bond with the movie’s star when the cameras stopped rolling.
“We didn’t really hang out because he had the kids,” Keith told Us magazine. “He does his scenes, then he hangs out with the kids and leaves. There were toys and there were kids everywhere! He is a great father. That is probably his top priority right now.”
And right now, Brad’s getting plenty of practice at it, considering his partner, Angelina Jolie, 35, is directing her first movie in Hungary — meaning he’s got parental duties. The pair is famous for taking turns working, and never putting themselves in a situation where one of them isn’t with the kids. “One of us is always at home with the kids — always,” Angelina has said.
