Check out my picks and tips for the perfect date night get-up!

The guy you’re seeing calls you up with tickets to a concert — what a great surprise! While you can’t wait for the show, you don’t have any time to pick out the perfect outfit. Whether it’s just the two of you or you’re going with a group of friends I suggest keeping your look comfortable and casual — but feel free to add cool accessories if you want to amp up the look. Even if you’re grabbing dinner or drinks at some point in the night, you don’t want to be overdressed for the show — nothing is better than looking effortlessly chic, like you just threw on something that was lying around and walked out the door.

I recommend sticking to a pair of jeans, jeggings, or even leggings — you want to be in something comfortable. Nicky Hilton is a perfect example in her casual get-up. In a basic plaid top and jeggings, her cool boots and studded bag add a stylish aspect to the outfit without looking like she was trying. Not only do her boots lend the perfect tough vibe to the look, but they’re also not too high. I don’t care how good you think your over-the-knee stiletto boots may look — if you can’t bear to stand in them don’t wear them!
Save the overly sexy shoes for when you’re going dancing! For a concert, a chunky heel that isn’t too high is probably your best bet.

I recommend pairing the look with a cross-body bag — that way you’ll have your hands free for dancing and holding your drink. Feel free to add a long necklace or bangles — just don’t over do it with the jewelry! Check out my picks if you’re looking for the perfect date night look this weekend.
