Violet and Seraphina Affleck’s aunt is celebrating her birthday today! We hope that the whole family gets together for the special day!

Summer Phoenix is not only Joaquin Phoenix‘s younger sister, she is married to Ben Affleck‘s brother, Casey Affleck — making her the Jennifer Garner‘s sister-in-law and an aunt to two of our favorite little girls Violet and Seraphina! Whew, what a family tree!

Summer has appeared in films like The Laramie Project, The Faculty and Suzie Gold and performed in a three-month run of This Is Our Youth at the Garrick Theatre in London alongside Matt Damon and Casey Affleck. She became engaged to Casey in 2003 and then married him on June 3, 2006! The couple have two sons, Indiana, 6, and Attitcus, 2½. We hope she has a wonderful birthday! Hopefully the whole crew will come out to celebrate!
