Joe’s hot on stage… but kind of awkward in the kitchen.
Between Disney Channel’s Sonny with a Chance, TV Land’s Hot in Cleveland and The CW’s 90210, Joe Jonas has been racking up quite the roster of guest spots this year — but none have left me (and participants) as baffled as his appearance on the Dec. 8 episode of Bravo’s Top Chef All-Stars.
“I had no idea who Joe Jonas was,” one contestant, Dale Talde, confessed. “I thought he might be a pastry chef?”
What’s even weirder is that there didn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason for bringing on 20-year-old Disney rocker Joe as a guest. Were the contestants asked to bake Mickey-inspired treats? Were they asked to concoct the ultimate chicken cutlet sandwich (Joe’s favorite?) Nope. They were charged with making the perfect midnight snack… for children.
“Hopefully what you make today will be fun for the kids,” Joe told the eager-yet-confused chefs. “Make it original. You can’t just show up with peanut butter and celery.”

What an exaggeration. I’m no fan of his but when I watched the video it wasn’t as random as it was made out to be.
