Everyone wants to know if Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are having a boy or a girl — and so do they!
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are expecting their first baby together this spring and they are getting as antsy as we are to find out the sex of their child! “We’re trying to wait,” Nick, 30, tells the ladies of The View today (December 8). “Everyone says it’s one of the most amazing surprises you can have in life. But you know we like to plan, so we’re holding out right now.”
Mariah is serenading her bump!
It didn’t take Nick long to figure out his wife was pregnant. “I came home and there was just a pile of pregnancy tests and they were all saying yes,” he recalls. “So she must have had a good time!” I guess Mariah, 40, was obviously anxious to plan for motherhood. HollyMoms, how many tests did you take before you actually believed that you had a baby on board?
Nick tells the ladies of The View that after suffering a miscarriage, this time around has been a joy for the parents-to-be. “So this time [we said] lets be positive, let’s keep the faith and let’s tell people early and that’s what we did and it’s been beautiful,” he reveals.

Who can blame Nick and Mariah for being extremely happy right now? Pregnancy clearly agrees with the singer, who was positively glowing during her performance this weekend (December 4) at the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade in Disney World! While she’s still singing, Nick says spending time with his wife takes priority over everything else, “that’s my number one job.” We think they’re going to make a great parenting team. What do you think HollyMoms?

Just because they’re famous shouldn’t mean they have to reveal the sex of their baby before he/she arrives if they aren’t comfortable doing so. particularly in their situatiion where they struggled to conceive again after a loss and are doing everything possible for this pregnancy to stay healthy. My parents didn’t know I was a girl until I was born 12 days late. the sex doesn’t matter as long as mom and baby are healthy I don’t think I’ve ever seen Mariah as happy as she is now. a reward after heartache makes this so much sweeter. they’ll be wonderful parents
