Jessica Simpson, we have to admit when we heard you didn’t want a prenup in your marriage to Eric Johnson, we were really nervous for you — after all, your fashion line made $750 million in 2010 alone! Thankfully, an insider says you’ve reevaluated and are planning on getting a prenup. Good for you!
“There will definitely be a prenup,” a source told USWeekly. “Jessica has said she wants one. Jessica and Eric have talked about it.”
Luckily, it doesn’t sound like Eric, a former NFL player, is giving Jess any hassle about the agreement. “[Eric] understands that there needs to be a prenup,” the insider said. “He’s supportive of it.”
Eric and Jess have only dated for six months, so a prenup only seems appropriate. Unfortunately, we witness it all too often, especially in Hollywood: love and finances just don’t mix!
