- On what Kate should wear on her big day: “She has a fashion edge but actually kind of traditional at the same time. I’m kind of thinking organza in some way. Layers of different kinds of silk organza, like satin face silk organza, regular silk organza, what’s called silk gazar, which is a texture. I think that she’s going to be more modern. I don’t know if there’s going to be any lace, but I think to keep it more modern it would be fabric manipulation, but then maybe some stones to make it more authentic.”
- Should Kate opt to wear a British designer? “I think she would pick somebody from England. That would be fantastic.”
- Kay dishes on whether Kate should don a hat with her gown: “I think that she’ll probably do something sensational, perhaps if she does the textured silk gazar. It forms that same airy feeling of the black hat you see her pictured in all the time.”
- Will Kate be a modern day Diana? “I think she’ll change it up. First of all I think that she’s going to probably want to come off as a stronger woman. I think Lady Diana was amazing, but she’s lucky enough to have Lady Di before her. I think that there’s more acceptance now in their family for a woman who’s going to be a little bit different.”
