Taylor and Jake shared the holidays together and were spotted on yet another coffee date. Are they just friends, a showmance, or the real deal?
Everyone’s favorite country star seems to have two favorite things right now: coffee and her new beau, Jake Gyllenhaal. However, while we hate to see such a cute couple be only a “showmance,” eyewitnesses tell us the date was PDA free — and maybe not a date at all!
Taylor Swift hit up Fido Coffee in Nashville with Jake over Thanksgiving weekend, and even though she’s the younger of the two (she’s 20, he’s 29) witnesses tell Hollywoodlife.com she’s the one who was steering the date!
“They are so cute! She was in control it seemed, talking to him about the area and what he should get. Nashville is her turf,” a source tells us. “They were talking, laughing and carrying on.”
Cute they certainly are, but are they the lovey dovey couple that fans are making them out to be?
“They didn’t have any romance [between them], but it wasn’t bad that they didn’t,” another source claims. “It just would have been weird for a PDA fest. They were there very shortly. Nobody bugged them and they went on their day. He got the door for her on the way out as she held the coffees.”
Not exactly the kind of details that “Swiftenhaal” fans are looking for, but we aren’t labeling this a “showmance” quite yet. Are you?

Personally I do not care for PDA. It makes other people uncomforable. They are both very famous and can you imagine too extremly famous people walk into a coffee shop and begin to make out and say, “I love you’s” in front of an audience. They probably knew they had a chance of being photographed and didn’t want to take a risk of showing affection for the world to see. I like how classy they are. Cutest couple ever!!
