Angelina Jolie Would Rather Be At Work Than Home With Her Kids: 'It's Very Tiring!'

Angelina Jolie says motherhood can be exhausting — but she has a team of nannies to help her out! Does it annoy you to hear celebs complain like this, HollyMoms?

Angelina Jolie admits that working long hours is sometimes more enjoyable than taking care of her big brood! Granted she has six kids with Brad PittMaddox, 9, Pax, 7, Zahara, 5, Shiloh, 4 and 2-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne — but she also has a huge support system helping her out! Can she even imagine what it’s like to raise a large family without nannies? “When me or Brad go away and work on films it gives us a bit of a break from the daily routine of being in the house and looking after the kids,” she tells Britain’s Hello! magazine. “You get spoiled on a film set and in some ways it’s easier to be working long hours on a movie than taking care of a large family just because you do get very tired at the end of the day.” HollyMoms, can you believe this?

The kids want Brad and Angie to get married!

Angelina, who hasn’t let go of the idea of having more children with Brad yet, says taking care of the twins is what really wiped her out. “I felt that way especially after the twins were born because the demands on your time are so great,” she explains. “It meant that Brad had to spend a lot more time with the other kids because Mommy was too busy or tired.”

Maybe that’s why we usually only see Knox and Vivienne being being cared for by their nannies. They weren’t even on the luxury boat that hosted Pax’s 7th birthday party in Paris this weekend!

Brangelina take their kids shopping in Paris!

Rather than giving recognition to all the caretakers who help her out, Angelina says the person who makes motherhood easier for her is simply her partner — Brad. “I’m very grateful to be in a position where I can still work and enjoy that creative part of my life and not feel like I’m neglecting my responsibilities as a mother,” she says. “I also love having a man like Brad who enjoys looking after the kids the way he does, because it’s a lot of work.”

No doubt having six little ones running around is hard, and all moms would admit that it’s nice to have a break from being a parent, even if it means going to work. But doesn’t Angie realize that there are tired moms out there who do it all on their own 24/7?

I only had three children but I used to feel the same way. Sometimes going to work was the only way to get some rest. I don’t think the person who wrote this had children…they just don’t like Jolie and are looking for someway to run her down.

She’s exhausted. Cry me a river. She made a conscious choice to have 6 kids. But she is financially privileged and fortunate to employ an army of nannies to take care of the kids and she and Pitt don’t have the additional stresses of housework, laundry, cooking, outside yard work and all the other things that need to get done when raising a family. Then they are chauffeur driven, fly on private jets and get additional perks of being a celebrity. They are so far removed from REAL responsibilities and stresses that average joe and jane deal with each and every day and who I sympathize with, but not Pitt and Jolie.

I doubt that the author of this article is a parent. Of course it is exhausting to be a good parent, whether one has help or not. Angelina isn’t afraid to admit it.

Well I agree I have 3 kids and look forward to going to work because its less demanding and tiring than taking care of my kids even with the help of my nanny. That cruise ended at 9 p way passed 2 y.o. bedtime.

She chose to have that many children. I don’t feel sorry for her.
