Christina Aguilera isn’t hiding her new relationship with Matt Rutler — but is she moving too fast so soon after announcing her divorce?

It’s been barely two months since Christina Aguilera announced her separation from husband of five years Jordan Bratman, and she’s already found someone new! Although she’s been caught out with Burlesque production assistant Matt Rutler several times, she can’t keep the nature of their relationship ambiguous any longer after the two were photographed together holding hands. Is she bouncing back way too fast?

Yes and no. I think the best way to get over any breakup is with another man ! Why? He’s a welcome distraction, and something different from the husband/boyfriend drama you were having. Let’s face it, if you’re splitting — the tail end of your relationship probably wasn’t all wine and roses. This new guy will give you something you’ve been missing.

The danger of moving on so fast, however, is that the man after your big breakup probably won’t be anything serious. He’s what we like to call a ‘transition’ guy, or ‘rebound.’ Of course, there are always exceptions — but this is pretty generally the rule.

As long as both people involved in this transition realize that it most likely going to be a big love, then why shouldn’t you indulge yourself and make yourself feel happy again?
