Now, do you love the Black Eyed Peas new mashup version of Time of My Life or is Patrick Swayze’s original way better?

Are you a purist Patrick fan or are you blown away like I am by the Black Eyed Peas brand new version, which they performed at The American Music Awards, this past Sunday, Nov. 21st?

My Grandmother has an original, still playable VHS release copy of Dirty Dancing and she heard the Peas version when it was aired during a recent episode of Oprah and she was like,”Who royally screwed up Patrick’s song?”, and I told her that it was the band that has been sued like a dozen times for plagiarism, The Black Eyed Peas. My friend that lives in the mountains said that a 41 year old DJ, nicknamed DJ Dad, refuses to play the Peas version after receiving tons of voicemails and emails about the Peas version, saying things like “They ruined a classic!” and now it is off the station’s playlists completely.
