Follow these easy steps to get radiant skin like the pop icon!
We can envy Beyonce for many things (her bank account, marriage to Jay-Z, superhuman vocal ability) but right this minute I want her impossbly glowing skin! This is no small feat in the winter months with changing temperatures, dry heat and scary wool legwear. Here’s my suggested process to get amazing skin like the pop star:
Step 1: Nourish and Hydrate -This is where one of my favorite products comes in: Glowelle. It’s a skincare vitamin that comes in powdered beverage form that you simply drop into a bottle of water and drink. It’s FDA approved and my skincare weapon year-round.
Step 2: Exercise – This kind of goes without saying, but there’s no glow like the radiance of a healthy body. Aim for 30 minutes five times a week and/or follow your doctor’s instructions.
Step 3: Cleanse - Along with using warm water (hot water just dries you out), use a gentle, moisturizing cleanser like Neutrogena Rainbath Deep Moisture Butter Cream Body Wash that will replace lost moisture before you get out of the shower.
Step 4: Exfoliate – Use a hydrating sugar scrub like one of my favorites, Caudalie Merlot Friction Scrub, which infuses antioxidants while it gently removes dead skin. If you’re a salt scrub fan, then use my other personal favorite, Ahava Uplifting Butter Salt with Mandarin and Cedarwood, which encases the salt in a rich body butter for an out-of-this-world experience.
Step 5: Moisturize – Theres nothing like good old fashioned Johnson’s Baby Oil on wet skin to lock in moisture. If you’ve got excessively dry skin in the winter (like me) you’ll want something even more rich, like Bliss Naked Body Butter. Tip: apply to wet skin and let your body air dry under a robe to lock the water in with your moisturizer.
