The LA set of the hit show is cleared out after a producer receives a mysterious substance in an envelope!
Just days before the dramatic finale of Dancing With the Stars, the studio and contestants Bristol Palin, Kyle Massey and Jennifer Grey were evacuated after a powdery substance was delivered to a producer. A statement from ABC reports, “An envelope containing an unknown substance was delivered to the Dancing with the Stars production office on Friday evening. Security and the Los Angeles Fire Department and the Los Angeles Police Department were immediately notified. Measures were taken to secure the area and ensure the safety of personnel.”
Bristol, Jennifer and Kyle are set to go head to head Nov. 22 for this season’s title.
The hit show has found itself at the center of controversy these past few weeks over the surprise appearance of Bristol in the finale, leading some to say the public was voting on popularity as opposed to performance. Others claimed that Bristol’s success was due to supporters of her mother Sarah Palin organizing a voting block.
Law enforcement did not say if one of the three finalists was the intended recipient of the envelope.
