Willow Smith is the first to admit it pays off having superstar parents like Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, but we can’t help but wonder if she’ll be bigger than both of them!

With a hit first single “Whip My Hair” and more YouTube hits than Rihanna, 10-year-old Willow Smith is already taking the world by storm. However, in one of her first interviews, the pint-sized rock star is quick to give thanks to the two people to whom she attributes her talents: her A-list parents, Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith.

“I get my flow from Daddy, my singing ability from Mommy, and the camera stuff from both. That’s just what happens when you hang out with the Smiths!,” Willow says in the December issue of W magazine.

She adds, “Mommy and Daddy inspired me to be a performer.”

While she obviously looks to her parents for musical inspiration, she has other favorites in the industry as well. “I like the way Billy Idol sings. ‘Mommy turned me on to him. And I like Lady Gaga’s songs,” she says.

Willow may be coming a star in her own right, but that doesn’t mean she acts like one at home. She still has to follow the rules like any other kid her age.

She explains, “I can’t do whatever I want. Mommy has to say it’s okay.”

Willow Smith is the most refreshing little kid star we’ve seen in ages! Let’s hope she stays that way!
