The news of Tony and Eva’s divorce sent shockwaves across the entertainment world. Those who saw them out together right before the announcement tell us they didn’t see any trouble ahead…but there was a lot of texting!
Eva Longoria and Tony Parker have had to deal with not only trying to get through a divorce in the public eye, but also with cheating rumors and speculation. It’s a rough time for both of them right now, but sources tell us that one of their last dates together Nov. 12 painted a slightly different picture.
A source at Tony and Eva’s regular hangout in Hollywood, Toast, gave HollywoodLife.com the scoop on their breakfast only days before they filed for divorce.
“He was in town because he had a few days off as he played against the LA Clippers that Wednesday. The place is very small, and they were sitting at the side location that had couches for seats. There is no VIP or area for privacy.” With no way to avoid prying eyes, the Parkers’ date was on full display for all to see.
“There was no real romance at all, but they were never angry towards each other. They seemed to be acting as a united front and there was absolutely no feeling that they were separated or about to be separated,” our eyewitness explained.
“They dined without any touchy feely stuff; they were on the phones texting and sat across from each other and not next to each other.”
Our source also told us those at the restaurant were surprised to hear the news that Tony and Eva were divorcing. “They kept saying they never would of guessed there was any problem,” the insider said. “It was a major surprise.”
When it comes to Hollywood couples, nothing surprises us anymore!
