It’s not a surprise to HollyBaby.com readers to learn that Alanis Morissette confirmed last night that she’s going to have a little boy. We discovered the sex of the baby at the end of October, when the singer had a baby shower and the presents were covered in gift wrap that said, “It’s a Boy!”
The 36-year-old and her husband, Mario “Souleye” Treadway, 30, who were married in May, got a surprise when they learned that Alanis was pregnant.

“I thought I wasn’t,” the singer, who is about eight months along, told Chelsea Handler back in August. “In passing, I said I was a little late. The doctor said, ‘Is that normal?’ [I said], ‘No, not really typical for me. After the doctor took a look, he said, ‘This looks like the screen of a pregnant lady.’ And I said, ‘There’s still a chance that I’m not though, yes?’ And he said, ‘Yeah, about the chance that I’m getting a sex change!’”
It won’t be long now till you’re holding your baby boy in your arms, Alanis!
