Teen Mom star Amber Portwood wasn’t allowed to show her face at her daugher’s second birthday party last week. The reason? Her ex-boyfriend Gary Shirley is mad that she’s got a new man in her life — mixed martial arts cage fighter Clinton Yunker!
Isn’t it a shame that Teen Mom star Amber Portwood didn’t get to see her daughter, Leah, blow out the candles on her birthday cake? The little girl celebrated turning 2 on November 13 surrounded by loved ones (and an MTV camera crew) at a party hosted by her father Gary Shirley, but one important person was missing — her mother!
According to Life & Style magazine, Amber and Gary were supposed to host the party for their adorable daughter together, but Gary pulled the plug on that plan after finding out that Amber had moved on to another man. The magazine reports that the MTV star is getting hot and heavy with mixed martial arts cage fighter Clinton Yunker.
“They were going to do a joint party for Leah’s sake, but Gary got so upset when he found out about Amber’s dating Clint that he uninvited her,” an insider tells the magazine.
“Amber was furious,” says the source, who goes on to explain that Amber is planning to throw her daughter another birthday party, which will also be filmed by MTV.
But little Leah didn’t let her missing mommy spoil her party, and everyone there showered her with gifts. “There was just cake and presents. Leah got a Barbie doll set and a pair of princess slippers,” says the insider.
Do you think Gary was wrong to ban Amber from their daughter’s birthday party, HollyMoms?
