Taylor Swift is single and she seems to like it that way: ‘I’m the girl who rarely has a boyfriend!’

Sorry Jake Gyllenhaal, but your new girlfriend Taylor Swift says she’s single! “I know it seems like I do [have a boyfriend],” Taylor, 20, admits in December 2010/January 2011 issue of Seventeen magazine. “But I don’t!”

“My friends aren’t used to me introducing them to a lot of guys,” says Taylor. “I’m not the girl who always has a boyfriend. I’m the girl who rarely has a boyfriend. But when something is a relationship I feel it, and when something is just a spark I feel it. For me all those feelings are equally important.”

But Taylor does have an idea of what her ideal guy would be like. “I will always have a fairy-tale complex,” Taylor gushes. “And I know that I’m never going to live on top of a tower and his name won’t be Prince Charming, but he’s going to make me laugh and he’s going to be self-deprecating and endearing and he’ll be fun to hang out with. I think that’s what my idea of Prince Charming has evolved into.”

I have a feeling that interview was done before the four consecutive (semipublic) weekend dates with Jake.

I agree! It must be at least 2 months before the mag came out, they usually interview couple months before the mag is out

I see no reason for Taylor Swift to fret. I imagine, in the end, after all things are said, and done, she will get it. One day she, too, could be “The Good Wife,” and get her fill of love. She deserves, as talented, and beautiful, as she is, to have the man of her choice. And I would guess, with luck, she could have almost anyone she chose. Almost. I do not understand why she can not make the love connection. Rihanna seems to be successful, as does Ke$ha. Surely, Taylor Swift can achieve the same success.

I mean, consider Miranda Cosgrove. Really. Although she is younger than Ms. Swift, she has had success dating, even when being tailed by her mother. Some feat. In the ring, against Victoria Justice, she trained until she got it right. And was able to tweet a picture of herself, as superhero, for Halloween, which made “Hit Girl” appear child’s play. Violence is child’s play, when compared to Love, and Miranda Cosgrove knows that. She knows it because she needs to know it. And, since Miranda knows I love Taylor, I know Miranda, without hesitation, would reveal to Taylor, the truth of Love as she knows it to be. Taylor need not even ask to be informed, so loving is Miranda. Good luck, Ms. Swift.

Joy to you, Rose.
