KIRSTIN SAYS: Bristol, Jennifer & Kyle — This Is The Best 'DWTS' Final Group Ever!

Against all odds, Bristol Palin made it to the Dancing with the Stars finals and Brandy got the boot!

The shocked looks on everyone’s faces was priceless! Dancing with the Stars host Tom Bergeron announced Brandy was going home and Bristol Palin had made it to the finals — and the studio audience booed! The crowd at home, however, cheered. These are the most exciting final three contestants in Dancing with the Stars history: we have the talented kid, Kyle Massey; the old school diva, Jennifer Grey and America’s unexpected sweetheart, “Bristol The Pistol” Palin!

“I don’t think anyone in 11 seasons has had such a journey,” judge Len Goodman told the 20-year-old teen activist before the results were announced.

Judging from Maks’ and Brandy’s expressions when they found out they had be ousted by an under-qualified team, Len isn’t representative of everyone. Even the audience booed when Bristallion made the finals!

Do you think Bristol will be able to make it all the way to #1 — or will Jennifer’s talent or Kyle’s personality pull them to the top?

I think Bristol is a class act she comes across as real and believes in what she does. It really is incredulous that people identify with the fact that Sarah Palin is her mother and that somehow is an influencing factor. I just think that Bristol is comfortable with her ability to perform on DWTS and is enjoying being a young mom and still able to hold her own.

I think the people in the audience were extremely rude to Bristol and her partner. Even if they thought Brandy should have stayed, they didn’t need to react the way they did. Whether you like Bristol or not, she’s just a kid – give her a break.

Bristol is America’s sweetheart!! Bristol does deserve to be there. She is playing by the rules and improving every week. They should have shown the video for the paso doble. She received three 9s for that dance and it was awesome. Not giving her any credit just proves that you have irrational hatred for this girl. The people get to vote for who they want to see in the next week and the people have spoken. It isn’t Brandy or Kurt Warner its Bristol.

I don’t care about the politcs when it comes to this but Bristol still does not deserve to be here. I don’t care how much she improved, other people improved more, were better dancers, and went home. People like Rick Fox, Kurt Warner, etc. may be retired professional athletes but they were not professional dancers, improved more than Bristol did, and danced far better than she did. Even Florence Henderson, at 76 years of age, danced better than Bristol. If – please, God, if – Bristol is the first one to get booted next week I wouldn’t be surprised if the studio audience cheered her leaving.

Everyone loves an underdog. Heck, I’m more upset that Kurt Warner didn’t make it to the finals. I will always root for the person with NO DANCING EXPERIENCE, which is what the show is supposed to be about. Sure, Jennifer’s a wonderful dancer, and Kyle is a good young showman, but Bristol isn’t a celebrity and has come so far with no dancing or performance experience. GO BRISTOL! This has nothing to do with politics, IMHO.
